Casey Davis
Provided editing, style recommendations, and proofreading for Digital Civics and Citizenship: An Applied Approach, a guide for librarians, educators, counselors, and administrators to guide secondary and higher education students in successfully practicing responsible citizenship and civics in the digital world. This is an important topic as more and more young adults are “digital natives.” They are comfortable with all of the advances in technology, using it every day but also must be mindful of their digital presence in the expanding digital world.

She also has created training modules for better writing, editing, and proofreading within the organization for such companies as Kimberly-Clark Corporation and BBDO Atlanta. With more than 30 years of teaching and presenting experience, she is a skilled and animated speaker who has provided corporate training and coaching in a variety of areas and translates these skills into engaging self-guided courses.
In addition to several years of teaching English, writing, and literature at the college level, she has been a Czech language instructor at Emory University and a presenter for the Senior Summer School program, offering short interactive classes about such topics as the legacy of Shakespeare in modern life, film in our society, the impact of The Da Vinci Code, the folklore of fear, and writing memoirs.
